With the kitchen repainted...I did not fall off the ladder! It is time to do some making pretty...I have a little office corner in the kitchen and have these 'bits' I want to make them pretty so tonight I shall figure out what I will do with them...
Whilst you are waiting for me to decide what I am doing with 'bits' here's a quick recipe...it may be less of a recipe and more of a confession...I do it when I am left with some cheese that I know I won't get through...brie, camembert or mozzarella...Cut your cheese into chunks...Prepare three bowls one with flour, the second with a beaten egg and the third with bread crumbs...Cheese into flour, then into egg and finally into breadcrumbs...Make sure the cheese is well coated at each stage...I then normally leave the cheese in the fridge overnight and check the coating in the morning...Then I freeze...Feeling naughty or want an easy starter? Four minutes in a deep fat fryer...serve with a green salad because we all know that green salad balances the fat content :-) and a chilli salsa or onion 'jam'
